This shirt was designed to honor the last few hours of Stephen Siller, a former NYC fire fighter who was among the 343 firefighters that died on 9/11.
The crest is designed with the form of the FDNY crest. It’s interior is different from its counterpart. In the middle there is the logo of the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel, which is where Stephen Siller started his journey to the World Trade Center. The boot print on the left signifies the journey, the “SQD 001” is representative of the squad of which Stephen Siller was from, on the top is the FDNY initials, and the bottom is reflective of the number of fire fighters who perished and the connection that it has with Three.Four.Three.FC.
In the back there is a fire fighter boot wrapped in an angel win, reminding us all, of the danger and sacrifice that these heros decide to take upon for our benefit and America’s sanity.
